College football recruiting might be one of the most fluid things in sports. One moment, a player loves the school and wants to commit on the spot, and the next moment, the player can't commit because the school is pursuing a bigger target. Things are constantly changing in the world of college recruiting, and Alabama found that out.

The Tide were expecting several visits from transfer portal additions and some highly rated high school players this weekend. Here is the original list, first reported by Andrew Bone of On3.

DB: Isaiah Hamilton - Houston Transfer.
DB: DaShawn Jones - Wake Forest Transfer.
LB: Kahlil Jacobs - South Alabama Transfer.
LB: Ty Jackson - No. 1 Overall LB.
OL: Micah Debose - No. 8 Overall OL.

That list has changed, with Houston cornerback transfer Isaiah Hamilton no longer visiting Alabama, per Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports.

However, Alabama shifted focus and landed another defensive back transfer on a visit to the Capstone this weekend. Per Zenitz, Penn State safety transfer King Mack is expected to visit Alabama this weekend.

Mack and Jones could come in and provide starting experience to Alabama's secondary, which is lacking in that department. The visitor list now looks like this:

CB: DaShawn Jones - Wake Forest Transfer.
Safety: King Mack - Penn State Transfer.
LB: Kahlil Jacobs - South Alabama Transfer.
LB: Ty Jackson - No. 1 Overall LB in high school.
OL: Micah Debose - No. 8 Overall OL in high school.

Alabama sits at around 83 scholarships on the roster following the departures of Peyton Woodyard and Tony Mitchell, so the Tide could make a couple of additions to the 2024 roster.
